Francisco Bolanos was born and raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. Before
getting granted BA in Arts, I did work as computer cad technician for several
architectural and engineering firms, building the foundation of my skills. I
completed my studies having several Autodesk training courses, while doing
professional advances in Graphic Design and DTP as well. On 1999 I moved to the
USA, where I live now working as 3D and CAD graphic artist for a acknowledged
firm in this field.
I have been using VRay since the pre-release, six or seven years ago, to date.
It is my main tool for visualization and lighting, and I introduced it to my
studio as our standard tool.
I am a 3dsmax user since version 3, and VRay came along as the perfect solution
in my workflow when GI gained strength as standard to approach realism and
quality in this industry.
Currently my main workflow is based on 3dsmax 2009 plus VRay 1.5 SP2.
