Version 1.48.83 addresses certain issues pertaining to DR, materials and hang-ups. Highlights of the changes include the following:

Fixes to DR functionality.

Improvements to material editor functionality.

Localization issues involving file/material names.

Closing Sketchup while a render is in progress will no longer hang.

Fixed a glitch in the VFB that prevented re-sizing after clicking the framebuffer options button.

Fixed minor issues with Material Preview.

Fixed spinbox issues with non-english OSs.
-
Fixed problem where R2P.rb would not be found if SketchUp wasn’t installed into a path structure that we expected (Google SketchUp 7/Sketchup/ or some other iteration that says the SketchUp version number).

Bug Fixes
- Different result when there is a missing map in the
enviroment slot; - Errors when there is a Bitmap texture without a file name
specified; - Horizontal shift for physical camera not working properly;
- Differences with the production renderer when texture
filtering is "None" and "Blur" is other than 1.0; - Animation of materials and textures is not updated in the
ActiveShade window; - Animation of physical camera properties (focus distance,
focal length) is not updated in the ActiveShade window
