V-Ray for SketchUp 01.48.83 Now Available

Version 1.48.83 addresses certain issues pertaining to DR, materials and hang-ups. Highlights of the changes include the following:

  • Fixes to DR functionality.

  • Improvements to material editor functionality.

  • Localization issues involving file/material names.

  • Closing Sketchup while a render is in progress will no longer hang.

  • Fixed a glitch in the VFB that prevented re-sizing after clicking the framebuffer options button.

  • Fixed minor issues with Material Preview.

  • Fixed spinbox issues with non-english OSs.

  • Fixed problem where R2P.rb would not be found if SketchUp wasn’t installed into a path structure that we expected (Google SketchUp 7/Sketchup/ or some other iteration that says the SketchUp version number).

  • Options to turn on/off rendering of proxy objects, X-Ref scenes and
    particles;
  • Support for stereoscopic rendering with different preview types
    (anaglyph, interlaced, checker, dual-window);
  • Adaptive sampling support with the ability to stop the RT once noise
    has cleared to some level;

  • Support for the offset parameters of the physical camera;
